With a background in human geography, I am working on a research project in tourism geography. I am investigating the emergence of visual and narrative images of islands in social media. My focus is on media-cultural practices, aesthetic patterns, and the role of digital platforms in the construction of space in a global context. I am particularly interested in questions of narratives, the role of emotions and the influence of social and cultural conditions.
